About Our Business
The company was founded as a sole proprietorship in 1995, owned and
operated by founder Kenneth Jones, then Ken Jones Trucking. He
transported farm produce for the local rural communities near Albany,
Georgia. The company expaned to include other family members, forming
KLS Trucking, Inc. in 1997. Because of the increased number of contracts in
the Metro Atlanta area, the company was relocated to Griffin, Georgia.
KLS Trucking employs fifteen drivers, and has grown to include fleet of
semi-trucks, trailers, straight trucks, vans, and pick-up trucks. This allows us
to provide services to our clients without interruption of delieveries.
Our customer profile includes such companies as Proctor & Gamble, NACOM
Corporation, Yazaki North America, NYPRO GA, TEchsonic, Amitech, Prestolite
Wire Company, MG International, Olin Brass, Cello Foil Products, Film
Fabricator, Inc., and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (America) Inc. We also entered
contracts with Landstar Inway, C.H. Robinson, Southern Ag Carriers, and
Transportation Brokers.
KLS Trucking provides yard service (trailer spotting), maintains the flow of
goods from the outside warehouse to the production lines, and is the
primary intrastate carrier of inbound shipments for a major corporation in the
Atlanta area.
KLS Trucking is committed to providing professional service t the lowest cost
to our customers. We have established an excellent reputation for catering
to our customers' needs and on-time deliveries.
